Origami Stars

Simple Star

Instructions for the Simple Star

Works well with 10cm origami paper or (particularly) ordinary office paper. (15cm origami is a little too big and floppy, but if that’s all you’ve got it’ll be OK.)

16-point Simple Star

Instructions for the 16-point Simple Star

A tweak of the Simple Star to use 16 rather than 8 units . Works well with 10cm origami paper or (particularly) ordinary office paper. (15cm origami is a little too big and floppy, but if that’s all you’ve got it’ll be OK.)

Tico Star

16-point Tico Star

Instructions for the 16-point Tico Star

This version uses the same units as the 8-point one, but puts them together slightly differently. It makes a very beautiful star for remarkably little work.

Eifel Star

Instructions for the Eifel Star

Works well with 10cm origami paper or ordinary office paper (but 15cm is too big)

Robin Star

Instructions for the Robin Star

Works well with any size of origami paper: also with ordinary office paper, though  you don’t get the little white triangles.

Mandala Carla Star

Instructions for the Mandala Carla Star

Works best with 15cm origami paper because you can make it in 3 colours; but it’s also good with ordinary office paper.

Braided Corona Star

This one is quite fiddly and you need to get an instinct for when to be a bit tough with the paper. It works well with 15cm origami paper, particularly if you do it with double-coloured paper and end up with 4 colours making a pretty ring in the middle. But it also works well with ordinary office paper.
